The 2026 Disc Golf Pro Tour season officially took flight this weekend at the Discraft Supreme Flight Open, and it was a legendary showing for two of the most consistent forces in the game. Ricky Wysocki and Ohn Scoggins battled through the rugged hills of the Olympus course in Brooksville, Florida, to secure statement victories in the MPO and FPO divisions.

For Team ZÜCA, seeing our sponsored athletes sweep the top podium spots is the ultimate way to kick off the new year!

MPO: Ricky’s Masterclass and the Course Record

Ricky Wysocki didn't just win; he dominated. The highlight of the weekend came during Round 2, where Ricky put on a clinic, shredding the par-67 Olympus layout to set a new course record with an 11-under-par (56).

The Defining Moment: Hole 5 proved to be one of the most difficult challenges on the course, but Ricky navigated the tight landing zones and treacherous OB with veteran poise. After a scramble that felt impossible to most, he saved a birdie that kept his momentum surging.

The Finish: Entering the final round with a lead over rival Paul McBeth, Ricky stayed disciplined, carding only a single bogey throughout the entire weekend to finish at -24 total. His ability to "let the course come to him" secured the win and a big payday.

FPO: Ohn Scoggins—The Queen of the Green

In the FPO division, Ohn Scoggins reminded the world why she is the master of finesse. Ohn entered the season already on fire with three sanctioned wins in 2026, and she carried that "sprint" mentality straight into the Supreme Flight Open.

The Strategic Edge: While the field struggled with the wind and the punishing "rollaway" greens of Olympus, Ohn’s legendary putting was the equalizer. She systematically dismantled the field with a blend of aggressive approach shots and ice-cold circle-one confidence.

The Victory: Ohn's win at Olympus is a massive statement starting off the 2026 tour landscape. By securing this Elite Series victory, she earns 150 points toward the DGPT standings, positioning herself as the woman to beat for the 2026 title.

Adapting Like a Pro

While Ricky and Ohn are almost always seen rolling their ZÜCA disc golf carts, the extreme elevation and specialized terrain of the Olympus course led both champions to opt for carrying their bags this weekend.

It’s a testament to their professional versatility—knowing when to adapt your gear to the specific needs of the course. Even when they aren't pulling their carts, the endurance and injury prevention they gain by using ZÜCA for the majority of the tour’s long weekends ensures they arrive at these grueling season openers fresh, healthy, and ready to win.

A Historic Start for Team ZÜCA

We couldn't be prouder of Ricky and Ohn. Their victories at the Supreme Flight Open are a celebration of hard work, smart strategy, and the championship mindset. We can't wait to see them back on more cart-friendly fairways soon equipped with their favorite disc golf accessories but for now, we’re just enjoying the view from the top of the leaderboard!
